Marvetta Johnson, peer educator, has worked with Carepoint for three years. She performs outreach at various local churches and schools, as well as street outreach, stressing the importance of risk reduction in protecting themselves against STDs, Hepatitis C, syphilis, and HIV/AIDS. It is through Vince’s leadership and guidance that I have endeavored to become an HIV Counselor and an outreach worker. My co-workers and I train and study continuously to further our knowledge and insight into the many issues that plague the community. She also assists with administrative duties in the office.
